Pediatric Otolaryngology
The Pediatric Otolaryngology Division specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, and throat disorders affecting infants, children, and adolescents. Faculty provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for common pediatric ENT conditions as well as complex congenital disorders involving the airway, head and neck, ears, and sinuses.
The division utilizes advanced surgical techniques including plasma-assisted tonsil surgery, laser supraglottoplasty, endobronchial laser surgery, and image-guided procedures for selected congenital ear and nasal conditions.
Education & Research
The division provides resident education and participates in clinical research focused on pediatric ear disease, sinus disease, and hearing disorders.
Drs. Nathan Gonik and Bianca Siegel lead the multidisciplinary Pediatric Aerodigestive Program at Children's Hospital of Michigan, collaborating with specialists in gastroenterology, pulmonology, and speech-language pathology to provide comprehensive care for children with complex airway and swallowing disorders.
