Narrative Bio

I was born and raised across the lake in Wisconsin and became passionate about medicine/otolaryngology from my own experiences being treated for cleft lip and palate in Milwaukee. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin with undergraduate degrees in Neurobiology, Environmental Studies, and Global Health followed by a Master of Public Health with focuses in epidemiology and community/global health. I then graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin to become the first doctor in the family. Throughout my studies, I continued exploring my passion for global health by providing medical and surgical care in Uganda and Peru and working with the FACES global surgery nonprofit. I’m beyond excited to begin my Otolaryngology residency at Wayne State University and get to know the city of Detroit and its surrounding communities. Outside of work, I enjoy running, lifting, cooking, football (Go Packers!), trying new breweries and restaurants, and traveling/hiking when I can.
